Our company

The Company was created in Santiago de Chile in 1955, beginning its activities as a representative of Polysar in Chile. It was established as a reliable supplier of raw materials for the rubber industry, with the support and exclusive representation of leading firms.

Over time, it has diversified the offer to Clients from other industrial areas such as construction, insulation, plastics, adhesives, paints, pharmaceuticals, food, road works, the pulp and paper industry, ceramics, and mining, among others; taking advantage of the wide range of products of our represented. Currently, these sectors give us their preference not only for the quality and prices of our products but also for the Customer service they obtain from the first contact with the Company.

Since its Foundation, Amster S.A has pursued excellence in customer service, continuously seeking raw materials and products of the highest quality that allow better profitability in the manufacture of products; through a reduction in rejects, a decrease in the use of energy resources and a good acceptance of the final product. For this purpose, the Company has the broad support of its represented companies, which give us guidance and precise technical support in the use of its products, thus obtaining excellent quality, which allows us to correct any deviation in the results that occur in the use of the products. And it is to provide even greater peace of mind to our Clients, that the Company, in 2006, implemented its Quality Management System and obtained with it the ISO 9001/2000 certification, allowing with this to verify the commitment to continuous improvement that Amster S.A establishes with the Clients and with the Companies represented

It is in December 2008 and due to the vertiginous growth of the Company in recent years, that Amster S.A decides to expand its facilities and move to the Quilicura commune where it currently has its commercial offices and one of its two product warehouses. For this same purpose, there is a fleet of vehicles and trucks both for the distribution of products and for customer service, which allow all vendors to travel

The Company is currently executing a continuous growth plan, appreciable in the increase in sales in recent years and in the growth in market share, the foregoing due to the high quality of its products, the effectiveness in the use of resources and the constant search for innovative products and solutions.
