Struktol® WB 16

Mixture of soaps of predominantly calcium fatty acids that improves the flow properties of rubber compounds, reducing the viscosity of the compound in green (unvulcanized) in addition to having a lubricating effect, decreasing friction by sliding on metal surfaces. In addition, it eliminates compound bonding on rotors and rollers, has a release agent effect especially if the product geometry is complicated, and also has a slight activating effect on vulcanization speed. It can be added at any stage of mixing, including in the heating stage before calendering but it is recommended to add it in the last stage of mixing.
