Desmodur® BL 3175 SN

Hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). With Desmophen®, it generates one-component polyurethanes for coatings; as an additive, it improves flexibility and adhesion. Free NCO content: Less than 0.2%. Its viscosity can be reduced with acetone, esther, esther ether and aromatics, they cannot be used with aromatic hydrocarbons. Equivalent crosslinking NCO/OH = 1.0; It can be combined with plasticizers. The increase in curing temperature can be reduced with catalysts. Recommended for high-grade surface finishes or as a primer/topcoat for automotive finishes.
